Well i guess to me it is .
Like i said everything is bolt on , the rear subframe on the Evo and Lancer (08+) are bolt on .
It would be easy picking up a Evo X from a auction and putting on all the parts n the lancer ...

Its damn expensive... but its possible. The engine will drop right in, and the transmission and awd will work too. However bear in mind that it will again cost a lot and will take a good few days to sort out properly (thats if everything fits). Oh and u will need an evo x fuel tank as the regular lancers block the AWD tunnel already built into the car.

Lets not spread miss information.. rear subframe does not bolt right up nor does anything from the rear end of the evo.

I'm speculating but maybe the ralliart rear end might work but nobody knows until its attempted.

you couldn't be any more wrong.

the evo rear end/underside and lancer rear end/underside is not anywhere near the same..

even the suspension pickup points sit around 6inch higher in the evo chassis compared to the lancer.

please dont spread miss information unless you can confirm first hand.

I will also add even if everything magically did bolt up, its still not as easy as you make it seem.
your pretty well building a vehicle from the chassis up so good luck with that.

You should check out Peninsula Insurance out of salisbary. i have been with them for years and they are great. i have my evo and my daily (07 cobalt) with full coverage and i pay 250 a month and i only pay 8 months out of the year and im only 23

You'd probably save money just buying an evo.

if you cant afford an evo at least at minimum start with a ralliart, that the cloest you'll get. the ony thing you miss out on is the S-AWC but the AWD in the ralliart with some good tires is an amazing machine, you already have the evo X motor and what not.

save yourself the headache and just trade it in. RA is AWD w/ warranty.

RA would be the smarter choice, but you also have the cvt turbo option for a project. save your money and buy urself an evo later

As they all stated, go ralliart. If insurance is what worries you try progressive. I remember hearing they don't recognize the ralliart as an awd monster and more of a compact daily driver. Meaning the insurance will be very low
