With the Evo MAF in, I am currently hitting positive pressure right at 100 load...I know this because I just installed my shiny new omni 4 bar tonight.

Pulling timing removes knock, but so does smoothing. Big jumps in timing will really screw with you, because it depends on where you hit that cell from, so it can make you think you have something going on, but really it's just a large jump or drop in timing....lets see some logs of the knock.

Also, no offense to steven, but please don't run evo timing, lol

boost area??
I do remember seeing knock in the 2250-2600 area at lower loads, like I think you are...and I also think I remember struggling with it a lot, before finally somewhat ignoring it. You should pull timing and see if the knock goes away though, I did that until it went away to like...1-3 counts, then no amount of timing pulls made it go away, so I just upped my load threshold to 70, and ignored it below like 2500.

Are you smashing on the gas, and seeing it? If I punch it hard, I can sometimes see a blip of knock. I also have a bad throwout bearing I think, that makes some rattle...so like most ppl said, try to have 0 knock, pull timing and see if it goes away.

I think I'm confused...I have logs of my stuff, but I don't really have any knock showing. So you want to see what timing I am having? At WOT it's 150-160 load, and starting at 2500 rpm, I have like...only a couple degrees of timing, and then increasing to a couple more...I'm not very aggressive though....still working on that.

Yeah I changed the knock thresholds to start at 60 load and turned lean spool off (put it at starting at 9k and end at 9k rpm).

That log looks pretty similar to my timing, although if you are hitting boost there, like honest to god positive pressure, then you have too much timing....just depends i guess. It doesn't look like you're mashin on the gas though, just sort of cruising, maybe uphill for a bit, but not like WOT or anything. That's the case, yes?

haha, it's too late to be throwing double negs at me like that....but it reminds me of a random quote I heard on Monday.

"Don't not click on the no button, because the check scanner is not un-configured yet, so the check can't not be scanned...." I'm like, lady...seriously, just..tell me what to do, don't tell me what not to not do....

Like I said, it was late. I work an IT Helpdesk, and sometimes people just can't voice things cleanly, lol.

Once that wideband is in, we will be able to tune better I think. It's possible to get rich or lean knock, just like advanced timing knock.

It was late for me as well. The bruins had just finished winning the Stanley Cup after a couple of beers and being tired I was kind of out it.

Anyway, wideband is going on today. It won't be till later on though. I got mad errands to run bro. A **** load!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting ready to cross one of them off for right now.

One other question: On the auto tephra rom do we change the high octane maps or the low octane maps?? I want to make sure I'm changing the correct map and not the wrong one.
