If it's bad enough that you're seeing that sort of pressure difference, it's bad enough your tune is off. Typical spots are intercooler pipe connectors, bov connections, etc...so you may have one there.

If you have bad vacuum though, it's probably something with where you ran your BOV T, to the FPR vacuum source i assume, so check that T and make sure it's all tight. Check at your boost gauge too, where ever that connects.

I used the carb cleaner trick to find vaccuum leaks and I didn't find any. The car is idling at 18 now though since I retighten all the connections. When I sprayed the carb cleaner on the connections there was never a change in idle that I noticed.

I have T bolt clamps on the intercooler pipes. I didn't take th car out for a drive though because I was blocked in and then had to go get my girl from work.

I also did reset the battery again to see if it would do anything but nothing.

Any other idea guys??

since it went back to 18 you still have a leak, or your idle is a little messed up, usually that can be from your injectors.

What injectors are you running
All your connections are tight?
Did you make sure all your hoses near the FPR are hooked up?
What Maf are you running

Once you answer these then tell us your setting for the injectors and the maf.

injectors - stock lancer ones

all connections are tight, where I can't move them.

FPR connection?? Where I "T" for the boost and bov, yeah those connections are on tight. I took them off and re-tighten them again making sure they don't come off or move.

MAF- stock lancer one

Since this is an issue, a couple of years back the BISS screw was messed with by a mechanic because my car kept trying to die when I came to a stop. Could this be part of the issue now?? I don't know which is the BISS screw and which way to turn it but I thought I read somewhere that it could be changed to go back to stock idle through the computer.

I also have a couple of exhaust leaks but these are all the way in the back from the midpipe to the bend connection to the bend connection to muffler part. No where there were it would throw any sensors off.

I'm doing an oil change tomorrow along with spark plugs and hopefully this makes a change somewhere cuz I don't have any other ideas.

no fpr, just the stock one. That little round thing that looks like a spaceship.

I read through all of Mitsu kid's threads but his went away when Roadspike came back and re did the Auto rom's which is the one I'm running.

Maybe it could be our tunes. Imma see if I can find an aftermarket intake tube and see if that does anything. Nothing wrong with the Evo one but just to take something out of the equation.

if you get tired of waiting I'll sell my brand new evo MAF. I'm going to stick to the stock lancer MAF until I go speed density.

If you didn't, you really just need to pressurize the intake to 8psi or thereabouts, and listen for leaks. The Darb cleaner method would work if you have like, a hose off.

I don't know what my idle was at before I put the turbo on.

how would I pressurized the system bro. I have an air compresser but no valve to limit how much goes into it.
