Well haven't updated much...really thinking of putting the lancer back to stock. Its sat in the garage for most part since purchasing the evo. Battery is unhappy and sounds like the lifters drained so startup sounds nasty to me. Perhaps im just used to how quiet the evo is now? Anyone interested in parts from my setup? Just gauging interest before I decide what todo.

That would be a sad day indeed if you do put it back to stock, but is understandable now that you've got the evo.....The lifter sounds your hearing I'm sure are the norm. I have that same 4 banger lifter tick. Pretty normal for the 4g94's. Something to do with the valve covers that amplifies it. Unless your hearing something more prominent that isnt normal that is

its pretty loud. changed the oil and made no difference. Not sure i want to drive it around the block with it since it sounds much louder to me. i need to get a trickle charger so i dont have to keep jumping it when i warm it up every now and again.

Well, that would suck if there is something wack with the oz, but one thing positive out of it if you do swap it back to stock and sell off the turbo, you'll have some extra $$$ to add some more toys towards the evo...lol.

I think alot of guys would buy parts off of you but...don't do it!!

Aren't mitsus notorious for valve ticker sounds? Mine makes a ticker sound but its not very loud. I know its there and I hear it but other people don't.

well i am really leaning towards back to stock unless i can find a way to quiet the exhaust way down. The drone inside the car is stupid loud. The only think i can think of is the turbo manifold since i also have a HFC & resonator and 03lances has a straight thru setup. The HFC/Resonator should quiet it but it seems like hardly a difference.

In other news the camshaft guide pin broke off and bent up bunch of the valves. guessing the noise i hard was the pulley wobbling before breaking off. Thanks 2 03 again as he is doing the labor for me and took the head to the machine shop. I really think i should go back to stock as id like to start DD it again. Going to hit 10k on the evo. this week.

You guys know what i have (suspension stuff will stay) if your interested shoot me a PM and if i get enough interest ill put up a FS thread.

Also anyone have a way to reach Justin @ speedcorps. I ordered a thing first week of dec. Havent got it nor a reply to any of my emails or at this point request to cancel the order. Going to call the credit card co and cancel the charge if i cant reach him this week.

Ouch....bent valves .... Going back to stock makes sense now that you have the EVO. Having it as your DD to save on putting tons of miles on the EVO is a good idea.

Think Justin moved to Colorado? Since then he's been a bit harder to get a hold of but eventually gets back to his e-mails. His phone number on his website does work (last time I checked) so leave a message.

Well the lancer is alive again thanks to 03 however we are going to put it back to NA this weekend. Turbo kit and all pipes/tune/muffler etc going up for sale once removed. Id like to try and sell the kit as one piece but doubt that will happen.
