Crazy thaught, for people with money

I was looking at the Dual Trottle Body setup from RPW this morning, and this crazy thaught crossed my mind.

What kind of gain would somebody get from going Dual TB - Dual Turbo (1 Turbo per TB). Let forget about space issue here, and just go with crazy idea.

Would it even be worth it?
And what kind of gain could we expect from going only Dual TB?

Our engine can't handle that much boost... unless you run like 3-5 PSi on each turbo. You will also suffer major turbo lag

OK then At least I thaught about it... Not that I have the money to do it, but... It always feels good to dream.

What gains would be expected from dual TB

I believe more air intake, u'll feel a lil "oomph" from a lil more power and also ur gas mileage should be a lil better.

Regardless of throttle bodies, twin turbocharging an inline 4 seems like a tremendous waste of money to me. I can't imagine you'd be able to run a decent sized turbine, efficiency would be out the window, and it would cost almost least twice as much as a single turbo'd Lancer. Then toss in the dualies, and you're escalating costs further even though you still only have a relatively small intake manifold. Though I suppose that could be fixed with a custom manifold, that would only further inflate costs.

Well, I appreciate the compiment, but that's mostly speculation there and experience with my own car.

Honestly, you could prolly TT the car with something small like the turbos off a 3kgt/stealth (I mean they're like doughnut sized), but the complexity of the manifold would likely make it very expensive, and they're not exactly made for big boostin'.

In theory mixing NA tuning like multiple TB's with FI is great, but in reality it's expensive, impractical and overly complicated. I stuggle enough with my simple turbo on a standalone. I'd hate to see what tuning this idea would be like.

This idea I'd consider leaving at the dreaming stage. Novel and interesting, but, again, not at all practical or efficient.
