Haven't been on my computer for a while but as of right now im looking into buying a second lancer that is manual. Im then dropping the tranny and rebuilding it in class getting parts at cost through my school. Then will be swapping over all my parts currently on my car and putting the engine in that car. Have my name on a list to also get my car painted through my school next year.
Im doing this so i don't have to do the swap over to manual in my car.
Also yes i will have 2 different manifolds im gonna look into getting a bigger turbo with a different manifold in a few months. I should be going to look at this other car on friday and then ordering the rest of the parts i need and dropping the head off at a machine shop.

Another update

Just bought my second lancer its an 02 oz rally.. manual so I'm planning on ripping the engine and tranny out In the next two weeks and rebuilding the tranny in my transmissions class. My teacher os gonna help me the whole way which should make everything a lot easier.
Won't be a lot of physical progress on the car until the weather gets nicer but I'm about to run into sone money so I will be ordering parts and probably asking some opinions on what my best bet is.
Also sorry for not posting pics yet ill try to grab some soon.

IF your going for 300whp in the manual upgrade to LSD! that stupid open diff shattered, exploded, DIED! on 3 of my transmissions. One being used with 8k miles and the third and last was a brand new one from . First launch it said no lol. Good luck on the build more pics!

Ya sucked taking it out just got it to school the other day.. who sells LSD diffs for it? Also the 02 lancer uses the same manual tran as the 03 right?

I think they changed from an internal slave cylinder to external in 03 maybe 04 might want to look into that. I know with my setup i had an issue with the first trans i got from the junkyard cause it hit my turbo, or was right where the intake to the turbo went.

Well I have the same tranny for my car took ir right out just have the service manual for 03 not 02 trying to see if their will be any huge difgerences
