Spun rod bearing getting prepared to build NEED ADVICE

Hey everyone, I ended up spinning a rod bearing this last weekend and I figure there is no better reason to build than this. I have been wanting to build this motor for a while just never really had the money to tear down a perfectly good running motor. But now I kind of have to so I want to do it as good as possible for a decent price, I'm not talking cheap stuff just want best value for the dollar and not the most expensive parts I can find either. I would like some input on what people would recommend on this build. What I was thinking was either a 2.0LR or a 2.2L stroker with Manley Turbo Tough pistons, Manley or JE 10.0:1 pistons, and a Manley forged steel crankshaft. I will be getting the block O ringed the head ported with Supertech duel valve springs HKS 272's and a FP Red with other supporting mods. Thanks for all your input!!!

I am kind of looking to build the motor to handle a bigger turbo down the road but still perform good with the FP Red right now, I will be using E 85.

how big is big...the block doesn't really need to be o'ringed till over 1000whp

You can't go wrong with any other of the engine choices your pondering..the manley bottom end pieces are top notch.

if it were mine, under 1000awhp, I would do Wiseco piston, Manley rod and crank, ported head with stock size Ferrea valves, the supertech spring kit works, you could also do Kiggley or a Ferrea Beehive.

I would only trust manley's crank.

Im not into china rods. Not to sure if the TT are though.

Please correct if I'm wrong.

I have heard a lot of good luck with the stock crank as well, as for the rods i am pretty set on the Manley Turbo Tough

Nope Manley TT are straight legit boss I have them do wonders. Also the OEM crank is a beast dont know why it gets disrespected on the forums. I have seen plenty of stroker cars etc holding down massive power with the stock Crank. I would say 2.4 ALL DAY everday after learning all the stuff out i have about the 2.4 if your not a didicated dragger then for sure 2.4 can get them cheaper with alot of options. 2.0 or 2.1 if its all about dragging for your car
