I am really interested in this Kit and definatly will be buying it sometime soon, but i am not convienced on how "sold" i am with it since only 1 maybe 2 laancers i think have this kit and neither of them are really talking about it and telling us about it. Plus some dyno sheets would be helpful and such.

Also - RIPP if i have an auto tranny - will i still see numbers of 190+WHP? safely?

the reason you havent heard that much is because there is only 1 lancer right now with the complete kit on it and thats mine. and im sorry for not posting to much but it is hard to get the time while juggling a full time job, with full time school and the fact that my computer sux *** and never works. so anyways, the kit is running strong as hell, ive put over 1000 miles on it since it got it back with the 222whp and ive been beating on my friends. one of them has a type r that hasnt beat me yet. another has a blacktop sr20 that we pretty much go back and forth on winning. this kid in a gti vr6 tried messing with me yesturday and i beat him by about at least 2 car lenths. so u can see its pretty fast, at the top of 2 and 3 its just pulls you into the seat. it really feels good to finally have my car able to thorw me back when i get on it. ive now driven this car the fastest that i have ever driven a car and i was about doing 130 which is where our speedometer stops but i was still accelerating for a good 10 seconds after that before i had to start hitting the brakes cause i almost flew past my exit on the taconic. so it is deffinetly fast, it looks great, and it sounds awsome now that it has the blow off valve. i would recomend this kit to anyone looking to get some real nice high hp gains while still keeping a reliable car as an everyday driver. ripp really makes a good kit and they are really helpfull with answering any questions. its just hard sometimes to get a hold of them, which is y they started up their own forum and id say if u have any important questions to call them and ask them or to put it up on their forum because they do this stuff for a bunch of different cars and it is hard for them to stay on top of all of the different forums. also if any of you have any questions that u think i might be able to answer feel free to drop me a pm and ill get back to you on it as soon as i can.

well the good is that the kit is pretty easy to work with even if your not all that good under the hood, and you get hugh gains from the kit alone that runs 222whp with no internals. the bad is that you just need to check your belt from time to time to make sure there isnt any wear and to check the tension cause if its to loose then it wont spool high enough. and there really isnt any ugly the kit looks and sounds amazing.

Sweet!!! Well Ive already convinced myself into buying this along with my new EVO VII bodykit from www.body-kit.com. But lemme get some suggestions from various people. I love my car and am willing to do anything but would it be worth it to pay the $1200 to convert it to a 5spd?

Hey Joe, I know you didn't do the install yourself, but do you know the size of the oil return fitting. 3/8 NPT? The boost cooler is prestone de-icer washer fluid right? Just trying to get everything together for my install.
