Glad to see you around. I like the wrapped turbo and up-pipe. Not bad with the polishing either.

Hobiekopek I was checking out your set up and was wondering who built it for you or did you do it? what happened to your motor and how much boost were you running.

here is a log turbo manifold set-up. Looks easy enough right? I will let you know, I am in the process of building one. I had originally planned to build a equal lenth turbo manifold kinda like hobie's header, but my first time, a new welder, I think the log is the way to go. Check it out.

THe plate cost me 100 at the machine shop. The parts from jgstools was like another 80 including shipping. I planned to use a VORTECH SUPER FUEL MANAGEMENT UNIT for gas issues. On hondas I have never had a problem. I also recently got a t28 that is not cooled with water, the garrett t25 I have is cooled with water and has a internal wastegate. The t28 does not have either. So it will look cleaner and plus I would had to of welded the internal wastegate shut to use the external. I hope to have all this done by spring. I just bought a hks blowoff valve so now I have all the parts to complete. I should have the log manifold done in a few weeks.

Oh yea- I have only got 700 tied up in the complete setup including turbo. After I get a intercooler I plan to have just over 1000 in the whole thing. Keep in mind I am doing every bit of this myself, except the plate for the log I had it made at a machine shop.

It was built by Jeff (mostly) at ILP Performance. They're not longer in business. I'm not certain exactly what happened. I started my teardown in November and it just got way too cold. I have no electricity or heat in my garage so the teardown won't be done until sometime in spring. From the sound, damage I can see thus far and metal shavings in my oil I probably blew a piston or possible threw a rod. There's gonna be a lotta updates when I'm actually working on the car again, believe you me. Boost was cutting at 5+psi due to a fuel anomoly When I rebuild I'm once again going to try to get to the root of the problem. Wish me luck, because I'm going to need it programming the EMS from the ground up.

I was wondering why you changed fuel managment other than just a bigger fuel pump and rising rate fuel pressure regulator. With only 5 psi it should have been ok. Maybe there is more behind the story? Well anyways good luck with the project.

Lots more behind the story. Wastegate has never been set to less than 7 psi. I'm just hitting a dead lean (or at least that's what the wideband says) AFR at that point. I haven't been able to figure it out with any certainty. The fuel pressure gauge and running with stock injectors should help determine what the problem is/was. Ideall I'd liketo be running at at least 9psi daily.
