got the chance to cruise around the city in .L.'s Ripp Lancer....and boy its hella strong...im seriously considering the Ripp kit....i wouldnt even look at RRM's kit i dont even care if its stronger or weaker. Hopefully i can start boostin before the end of this year....SUPERCHARGE ME!!!

These kits have a funny history...

We started nearly two years ago with 5psi and 181WHP, then we added our boost cooler, 270cc injectors and our 9-11psi pulley set up, clicking off 222whp and 221lb/ft of torque.... We sold 13 kits in all, and all but one of them are still on the road.

Some of the cars are trailer queens (show cars) that never get driven, but most of them have proven to be very reliable.

This year, we will try to shoe more of the kit... but posting on evom.net is not for us.... there are to many reasons to list....

If the community truly wants us to reinvest our time into, what we believe to be a viable and powerful kit...then please, inform them to come and post any question in our forums. We would gladly accommodate them...in any way they feel necessary.

222whp and 221lbs of torque at 9-11 PSI stage 2 sds kit is a good amount of power...although i was expecting a little more than that but im not disappointed...im still going for this kit. Now all we gotta do is wait for time slips.

been away for a bit and had to read thru all this... seems i've gotten some hits against me and RRM in here. Funny i kept their name out of it and just refered to "my sponsor." I never attacked, mearly stated what people have been waiting for with this kit.

All everyone wants is some customer feedback and the most they've gotten has been the last few days in this post. Still no track times or independant customer dyno's.

If you check things out nextgen was the one who went on the offensive strike i was just playing defense. Personnally i think RIPP does need to come on here and post a lot more. The lack of it has lead to a lack in demand for their kit. This is the major site for the lancer why not visit it??

In the end just get your car faster for as cheap as possible as it's a slow sucker when stock... also don't let yourself feel you should have went a different way later. Be happy with your choice as either way you'll be a lot faster than stock. That's my take on things.

People attacking RRM when they are not even mentioned in here is uncalled for. I've said my piece about what sponsors(to me) should assist with. If RIPP doesn't feel the need to assist or post on these boards then it'll show in their bottom line. The kit has nothing to do with it... the business does. Advertising/customer satisfaction/public recognition/and demand lead to successful kits. So far RIPP has been lacking on some things. As far as i know though everyone who's had the kit has been happy.

There have been a few accidents with the kit but that happens. The people who had them learned their lesson about tuning forced induction and being patient while tuning. That stuff happens though... oh well, good luck guys. Seems any further post from me will just be seen with hate and discontent anyway.

Surprisingly enough there seems to be enough hate to go around. Anyway (not to bandwagon here but) Boe has a point. I and most others i think come to this site to get info from vendors and others with the same issues that i have. If what your saying is that the vendors should not post here then what is the point of the site at all?

If Ross was offended by what Boe was saying then why didnt he prove what he was saying was wrong? The proof is in the pudding. Time slips and Dyno #'s. And ive said it before. If Ripp was so dedicated to the Lancer platform then why isnt he in here swinging his big SDS around and proving he is the one to go to for FI? Dont hide and make the customer come to you. Bring it out. Swing it around. Prove that your the man. But dont hide and think that the customer will come to you. We arent that smart.

i have no problem with you nextgen. Does Ripp not have a shop vehicle? No test bed that he could rip off a few dyno runs with? Hell if a vendor contacted me for a dyno run and he told me he would pay for it id jump on the chance. But then again i take a little pride in the products i choose.
