If I remember right, there is a vent under each seat to allow heat to get to the back seat. So if I'm correct, you won't be able to put your amp there

I would say is take off the seat and under the carpet put a piece of wood and see how thin or thick you need and take measurements on where you need screws, then just install(this way you don't have to drill into the frame or anything), thats what i did to install my eq brain. only thing is (if you have it) you must take out the center console to get to one of the bolts that attach the seat to the frame of the car . Don't know why Mitsu did that but it was just extra to take out. The only other thing is you might have to just run the wires, so my advise is to plan out what you want to do (like where to run wires, etc.) before you start to tear up your car and installing! Good luck and if you have pics show them if you can!!!

I am thinking about moving my amp from the trunk to under the driver's seat. I just trying to make more room in my trunk because I ripped the RCA cables off of the amp hauling groceries back there.

where in the trunk? i plan to mount mine on the back of the fold down seats, and hide all the wires in the carpetting. don't see how you lose trunk space like that, and doesn't seem possible to rip wires out if you hide them. just take your time installing and make sure nothing is in the way.

I could see how having an amp in the truck could be an issue ... especially if its a LARGE amp. Some are almost 24"x12" ... so thats pretty big ... even to mount on something. I was going to look for a way to mount my amp under my back seat, but decided not to due to heat ...

I think that installing under a seat is a good idea ... shorter power and rca cables .... longer speaker cables ... and it wont be in the way, plus you can access any buttons on the amp you may want ..

then agagin, i want to mount a PC under my seat ... hmmmm

i was talking about hondakilllinglan. i don't see how if all the wires are hidden properly and out of the way, pulling cables out the amp would be an issue.

my sub is tiny. 10", and the box is one of those little hatchback boxes (it was previously in a friend of mine's crx). i can still fit tons of groceries and all my hockey equipment in my trunk
