Request How to : Install Amp & Sub

hey, do some1 can make an how to install Amp & Sub in lancer 05? pls. The post in how to about this is empty and the link isnt working anymore.

I'd appreciate it thnx

Its actually really simple, you will have to run a BIG power wire (I have 4gauge wire but it all depends on how much power your amp outputs)all the way from the battery to wherever you have your amp (I assume the trunk of course) Then you should have a bolt under your carpet in your trunk in the rear left corner that you can use as a ground. Your remote wire can be tapped into your cigarette lighter wire right under the center console should be pretty easy to get to. Then its just a matter of connecting some rca cables to the back of your deck (or if you have a stock deck with no preamps you can get a line out converter from radio shack and splice into your rear speaker wires) and connect your rca's to that. Connect your subs to your amp and BOOM BOOM baby lol

nice thnx but i cant find the firewall to get the power wire get into it to the trunk

Well if your battery is behind the drivers headlight like mine is then you can run it down the fender like me then and bring it in that way I have mine then going behind the dirvers side kick panel and ran under the carpet.

i have done it, but something is wrong since the sub isnt working, gonna double check tomorrow
