Sony CDX-MP70 - I bought it when it first came it so it was close to $500. Crutchfield has it for $399. Its an excellent Mp3 player. It has this thing, I'm not sure what you call it but Humtek on this forum knows it. It makes your stock speakers sound AWESOME!!! If I were to rate it from a scale of 1 - 10...10 being AWESOME! I'd give it a 9.5!!!
pioneer 7400

This is a competition-level cd player with 4V pre-outs and other assorted bells & whistles...it can auto-eq your system and has a time alignment feature that delays the time it takes for the sound to reach the listener, so the imaging is more precise...id give it a 9 out of 10 only b/c the display is hard to read during the daytime when sunlight is directly on it...id recommend it to anyone looking for a serious HU...you can prolly find it for cheap now, since its like 3-4 years old...

I have the Pioneer 6400....originaly $300 but with my best buy employee discount, only cost me $180. You can most likely find it other places for a lot cheaper, but I think its well worth the $300. As you should know, pioneer is known for thier durability and GREAT SOUND!!!! This unit gives you that and more without leaving the visual effects behind, as many other pioneers have been known to do. It is colorful and at night looks off the hook because of its moving visual settings that range from dolphins in the ocean, to formula one cars on the track.

but it's not on my lancer.
