Pioneer CD motor issues...can NEone help?
I just got a Pioneer AVH-P6500DVD in dash dvd unit yesterday. I installed it today and for some reason the frickin thing won't accept or eject cds/dvds. the eject button beeps and all, but no motor churning sound. Anyone have any ideas?

Being that the HU that you have was discontinued in 2004 chances are you cannot return it. One thing you can try is to reset the HU. The reset button is located on the right side of the unit @ about 10 Oclock if looking at the control knob. It will be a small hole and you will need to use a paperclip or ball point pen to press it in. If this does not work then you will probably need to have it serviced.
