The power wire is exactly the same path I took for my GF's 2007 yaris. By far the easiest path I've even seen in wiring a sub up.

 

the wiring is so clean and i might do the same too. i have one more concern, how and where did you connect the remote wire? from the amp to where and how did you do it? pictures will help a lot. thanks!

Suditz it goes to the remote wire on the radio harness.. I will be installing my amp kit tomorrow thank god i found this cause i was avoiding installing it based on finding where to run the 12v wire

 

been looking for a forum like this since febuary. this really helped.

 

right side side of engine on fire wall there is a black rubber grommetu can push in and run any size wire through there I ran a 4 gauge wire through there to the amp under my pass. seat

 

actually i found that theres a whole cut out already in the insulatuion under the dash.. located on the laft side around where your clutch pedel should be.. if you pull it out there will be a hole already made threw your fire wall sized about for a 2 gauge wire.. but you shouldnt need that big of a gauge wire no bigger then 4 gauge for just some regular tubs
