The rockford system that comes with it, has anyone gotten random track skipping to work? When i put it on random or disc random, it will only random another track after one has fully finished. If you hit the next button it will not random to the next track, rather it will play the next one down the list.

 

Yeah i think thats just the way it is. Mine is the same way. Its probably just for easier song searching.

 

Its like that in my 04, and I have a different stock hu than you guys.

 

i haven't done this yet but since its quick to switch folders in mp3 mode i was thinking of putting a folder with a 1 second empty mp3. switching to it would surf you to a different song

 

Thats a smart idea but such a pain to do. You would probaby have to make 1 sec mp3s and name em something similar to the previous song.

 

no no just make a 1 second mp3 and place it by itself in one folder

then switching to the folder will random the next track
