Hey I'm looking for a Zune compatible head unit. Ive already seen the type that have an AUX input for the head phones but thats not the type i'm interested in. It would be great if anyone could point me in the direction of something that hooks into the Zune input on the bottom.

 

just find one that has a usb input

 

yeah i'm in that same boat with ya. ZUNE's are awesome but aren't compatible with anything and that y i kinda wanna get a i-pod again

 

usb has the same problem as a aux input. I want one that you can change the songs by using the radio rather then using the zune.

 

pioneer has some units out that have a usb port wire coming from behind the unit

 

yea the usb input will allow you to do this

 

buy a ford with sync. lol jp. i have a zune. and they dont have a head unit compatable with a zune

 

the usb input will work i just installed a pioneer 5000 in my dads friends car andhe uses his zune on it

 

how could we plug a zune directly into an 05 lancer though.. would this work...

I wouldn't count on it working. in the notes section it states "can version 1" and to the best of my knowlegde that wont do squat for your car

 

Well... How would i get an mp3 Aux connection.... thats basically all i am looking for.

honestly, upgrade the radio. if you dont feel like going high-end, buy a cheap radio that has a front aux input.

best buy has a jvc (KD-G140) for $80 and a pioneer (DEH-2000MP) for $100. spend five more bucks on a 3.5 to 3.5mm cable and you're good to go.

 

well i have a pioneer in dash LCD that pops out.

i bought my zune today.

i bought the correct pioneer adaptor with some funny pins that plugged into the back of my unit which converts to RCA($45), then i bought the RCA audio adapter that converts to the audio that plugs into the top of the ZUNE - 3mm??? -

any that was another $40

so $400 to get my zune and playing in my car... now im trying to figure out how to get video to play on my car! the car has a video input and the zune RCA has a video output but i cant get it setup right yet.... eh.

anywho l8a.
