12 volt noise filter

has anybody installed noise filter to the amp?

not with RCA wires but with just black and red wires..

im trying to install because I hear a high pitch buzzing sound when the car is on.

I took my car to the audio place and they want $65 for checking and seeing what the problem is, i don't want to spend that much money for this.

it's not the one with getting louder with acceleration but the sound is still and annoys my ear.

I tried to sand the ground again and separate the power cable with speaker cables but still did not work.. hmm

anybody?

try a ground loop isolator ? i think they are like 15 bucks , you can probably buy one try it and if it doesnt solve the problem take it back.

Did you run the power wire and rca's on the same side of the car?

no, that's the problem that I've fixed long time ago.

the sound hurts my ear..

I looked some online and installing it near the amplifier would eliminate the noise.

there are 6 rca outputs on my amp/headunit. 3 pairs of rca cables runs through from headunit to the amp. so.. do i have to get 3 of the isolator? or would one fix everything?

I grounded the ground wire to proper place, grounded all the paints off, and used short length of ground wire.

Is the noise coming out of every speaker that is amped, or just a certain single speaker or a pair of speakers?

I installed one ground loop isolator and the sound is almost gone.

I have 5 channel but I only used one.
but I still hear a little bit of noise not like before.
I saw some people online who installed 2 isolators for 4 channel speaker amp.
So I would like to try another one later.
