Aftermarket Nav units in Evos?

Has anybody ever seen aftermarket Navigation units in the Evo? Is it too harsh-riding of a car to put those flimsy little things in?

I'm trying to find ways to "dress up" the interior of the car, and I love having Nav units....

I'm looking for the same thing. A unit as good as those that come OEM with other cars. Any ideas?

I've been checking around...you know, it looks like it's going to cost us about $2000, but Pioneer makes an excellent in-dash DVD/MP3 player with screen called the AVH-P6500DVD. That's $1000. Then for another $1000 you can get the Nav system to hook up to it. The screen on the headunit is touch-controlled.

I use mapquest ( only if I have never been within 100 miles of the location) and my brain to get me from point a to b.

Here is a picture of my Garmin GPS V. I works really well. The only downside is it only has 19 Mb of memory on it so that will only allow you to load about 1/3rd of an average state on it at a time with all of the detailed street information (....... it comes with all of the major roads already loaded on it). I have the remote antenna mount which has a suction cup mounted to the bottom of the passenger's side of the windshield. I also wired it direct to the fuse box so I don't have the cig adapter in all of the time.
