I got a cobra radar detector from santa and it attaches to the cigarette lighter. I want to take off the adapter and wire it into the electrical system so it starts and stays on every time the car is on.

Im going to thread the wire underneath the passenger front top panel by the wind shield and down the passenger pilar into the electrical components down by where the passengers right foot would be.

There are a cluster of wires and im not sure which colors are "hot" wires that receive direct current. Does anyone have the manual that shows this layout? The wiring diagram on this site isn't helpful for this. I need to know exactly what im cutting into.

There are threads explaining what to do to wire it in. It isn't hard. Search the threads.

 

its very easy if you take apart your center dash. you will see openings for wires everywhere just look. do a search if you need help taking apart your dash but its pretty easy.
