Well just thought I would make a post about dash kits, I recently bought a kenwood ddx271 and installed the scosche dash kit on my 2012 lancer es. I also bought one from a company called custominstallparts.com to compare it to. I did not like the custom install parts kit at all. The fitment was off. The scosche kit fits a lot better, there is one portion of the top right corner that sticks up just a very little bit but other than that the scosche kit is superior by far. The color and texture match perfectly, Any way thought I would post this for anyone trying to make a decision on a dash kit. Hope it helps.

Here you can see the top right corner just barely sticks up ever so slightly.

 

Looks like I'll be trading out.. I went with a Metra and my head unit keeps tilting. Not to mention the misaligned panel corners.

 

It's on amazon for like 33 bucks man you can't go wrong, you will be much happier with this one

So what is the cause of the HU keep tilting?
