I'll never buy Sony again, I had their MP-70 head unit and the face display gave out after 3 months. What a load of horse poop. Never used their amps or subs, but from what I've read they're not the best either.

 

I will use another sony product. I had a Sony HU catch on fire in my first Jetta. It was due to faulty wiring inside the HU. The shop that installed was very nice and replaced the headunit with a Kenwood. Since then, I have avoided all Sony products like the plauge.

i like their HU's and thats about it. ive never had any problems with them and have always used them. i dont like their speakers at all, and they overrate their amps by a lot.

 

I have a SONY head unit and I love it as far as the speakers and amps go I font like them. I have a Sony head unit and all memphis speakers with a memphis belle amp.

 

their new car products are on point i used to have a xplode 10" sub in my car, but i upgraded...it hits good...but i do know that their amps arent that good...

Haven't owed Sony for years...probably b/c the HU I had shorted out unexplainably after under a year.
