Kenwood, Alpine and Panasonic are all putting out great hu's with aux inputs built in. You can get a panasonic with aux and 3 sets of 5volt preamp outputs for under $250.00 so I think they have the best deal out there and the stuff does not break.

 

that unit sounds good what are the DACs rated at?

 

the unit has 105db signal to noise and 24 bit dac's

 

i like eclipes hu and panasonic. they are one of the best looking head units out there. for the speakers i would go focal. and the subs and amp i would go JL. focal and JL are like the best for quality. but they are very expensive. if you just want loud bass go with a pionner 5000SPL. 1 12" sub can do 155 db easily.
