Lancer OZ remote wire???

Does anyone know what wire on the stock head unit of a Lancer is the remote???

I know I know...everyone says to just hook up a tester, but I'm sure someone has already done this.

And what are those hook ups under the steering column with wires leading to the stereo?

Yeah remote wire is light blue (universally). Only on aftermarket head units though. Stock HU doesnt have a remote wire. Just tap the amp's remote wire to a switched 12v source like wipers or cigarrette lighter.

thats what i thought too...stock HU don't have remote wires. if you want to run an amp off your stock HU, tap into a 12 v. source like the 12v for your HU and interfere it with a switch, so you would have to manually turn on/off your amp when you want to use it. thats what most competition sound systems have anyways..to turn off their mid/highs for SPL comps and turn off thier huge bass for SQ comps...

then again, don't compare yours to a high end SPL/SQ system if you are looking to run a stock mitsu HU.
