I've had the CEL come on then go off on its own as well. ECU realized there wasn't a problem after all

mine is working great. idle is so smooth i didnt even notice it died when i was waiting at a traffic light. if you have an automatic you need to raise the idle or else it would just keep dying. it was hard getting the car up my driveway

I raised my idle but it doesnt seem to make a difference, my car only died once but thats not the problem, its just that the idle is very rough and the rpms constantly dip low. I had it as high as about 900 rpms in drive and the problem didnt get any better.

I think its been covered on here before but i forgot, which wire is it on the stock ecu i can connect back together so that my car runs normally? I dont want to completely remove my ecu but i have a 3 hour drive home tomorrow and i seem to be getting the worst gas mileage ever. so i need to either unhook the ecu and use 87 octane, or how does the PB run with 87 octane? will it just run like stock?

Some people run the piggy with 87 octane without problem. Personnaly I wouldn't try it. If you want to use stock ecu setting the wire you're talking about is the one that you needed to cut. You needed to "T" into some, and needed to cut one. The one that you cut is the one you need to hook up like stock to bypass the piggy.

ok yeah thanks. I'll just reconnect that rather than running the PB with 87.

or... if you have the software... you can backup the map, set all the setting to stock setting, and put the map back on it once you're back from your trip. If you're getting bad gas mileage, you might want to look into it... faulty plugs, dirty air filter

yeah im planning on getting the software soon. we'll see how much money i have a the end of the month. it just seemed like my last tank of gas went down the drain abnormally fast without me changing anything on the car. I will check on some stuff though.

The one stock harness wire that you actually cut in half is the one to reconnect.
