Heh, I thought so too when I put my cai and catback on, and the only one I can beat while driving is myself

Rock, I intalled it this afternoon. I know there's a little idle roughness but it's ok the power is there. The thing that I was noticing was the delay in first gear (about a second) when it first start then the POWER kicks in. I'll keep update throught out the first tank.

^^ You must be talking about the throttle response. The response is inversely proportional to the drivability of the car, i.e. the more response you want, the much rougher the idle, CEL, and possible backfiring. The settings finally decided on showed to be the best balance between the drivability and the performance (throttle reponse)

I hope they got the ones they already had shipped back out today. I didn't have a chance to call and make sure. I really, really, really want my PB back in the car.

i don't really understand what chummer is stating? Are you taking off in 1st and feeling like stock then all the sudden bam there's power... or are you hitting the gas in 1st and there's a delay before anything happens(kinda like a lug)?

The settings won't really take effect until around 2500 rpm or so. However above that the throttle is fast, crisp and there at demand. If you're launching the car below that rpm then you're bogging the motor. If you're above that rpm and stomping on it and the car hesitates and it didn't do that stock then there's an issue for RRM to address.

If you can't remember if it did this stock just uninstall red/white wire leads and reconnect red/white wire back together. Do the same pull and see if the response is the same or better. Just a little more feedback than "rough idle and bad throttle response" is needed to see what's up.

Z are you experiencing this?

well, when i start in first gear it feels like the car is going to die. i think is from the rough idle, when the car is on idle it's shaky and the rpm will dip to about 400 and back up to 700 back and forth. and when driving in first ie. parking lot at low speed it will shake and i'll get a yank (feels like the car is being bump from behind). no other problem than the this. no cel, no back fire. i had it on before the idle was very smooth and throttle respond was great and never have the yank/jerking feeling.

Boe - I don't have this problem. Yes the idle is a little rough, and when you stomp on it from 1st gear, idling, the engine is boggy, but as you mention Boe, once you pass 2500 RPM, the car takes off and cruising at RPM higher than that and stepping on the gas you get a great throttle response. I'm not sure exactly what chummer is experiencing.
