you mean new set up as in no vaccuum line, or new set up as in new after the idle problem thing? and for the guy who is cosidering sticking with his old box, you could still sell that for a pretty good price, and then pick this up, and trust me, its worth it. aside from the problems, which they have fixed, it feels like a completely different engine. you won't regret it

yeah i understand that you want an unbiased oppinion. but its proven that a wire can transmit information faster than the vaccuum line, so one proven improvement is reaction time.

I just wanna know if it is worth it. Would you do it again, or stick with what I have?
Now with the pb2, I was totally happy with the performace increase! Just slight idle issue that RRM has solved.(waiting on reteun of pb2)
Before the pb2 I was debating SC or TC, w/ pb2 I think the car is almost perfect as an NA with very decent pull from the start!

well theres no doubt this wont compare to a turbo or SC, but for the price (like rrm says) its the next best thing and much easier to install and manage. perfec if your going N/A, but even if you want a turbo later, its just cut 5 (i believe) wires, and its good as new, and retains its resale value.
yeah a lot of people like the new piggy... while it is no FI setup it does get you happy all the way around which is important when spending that much.
Also many people don't like to have to do the maintenance that is involved in FI... the most mundane check forgotten could have you wishing you didn't.
Not saying FI is bad at all, god knows i would never say that
, but for those wanting to stick with NA the piggy rocks.

I was planning on getting the new pb but after reading though all this im a little concerned. When it first came out all i read was good things. Now that i read this 28 page text book, i dont know, i hope that things get fixed and worked out, i have a feeling they will over time since rrm is always quality.

^what? do you mean a piggyback that works with the turbo? hey chummer-x, is this the first time you had the PB installed? recheck your wires and connections. next weekend when I go home to get mine I'll see how it goes and what the differences are and if all the problems were worked out. I am pretty confident that they will be. we'll see.
