When you have EcuFlash open, any changes to the files in its folder under C:\Program Files, they aren't reflected until EcuFlash is closed and re-opened.
What is the "mod" that is needed for it to work with an '03? All you need to do is download EcuFlash, copy the master definition list into the EcuFlash folder under C:\Program Files and you're good to go.

Ok guys so I have run into a problem tuning. My timing maps seem to adjust perfectly with the loads I am seeing in evoscan, however my fuel maps are far from this I am having tremendous difficulty tuning my fuel maps. I have started logging the afrmap which from what I have read is supposed to show exactly what is in your fuel table at any given rpm/load. Mine are not to say the least, anyone run into this? Another thing is EVERY time my afrmap drops below 14.7 (mild to aggresive acceleration) is seems to mirror my 150 load column regardless of what load I am actually seeing leading me to believe my fuel tables are following some other higher load value above my max of 150. Anyone else out there experience this problem and how they fixed it? I am using a evo 399 maf hence my high load values and have found the evos seem to use different loads for there timing and fuel maps also.
Edit: Looking through some of my old tunes with my stock maf I had this same issue, timing maps adjusting fine and fuel maps not.
