ROAD/RACE-2008 Lancer Piggy in Progress
im startin to feel like CVTs are the red headed step children
Are you going to do the plug and play thing as mentioned in another post? If so whats the chance of a dealer finding out you have a pug and play rather than the traditional piggy?
and.. +1^ on the price Q's

We will look into the plug thingy. Gonna add cost to the entire set up but I know it is important to most of you. As for CVT, we will see when we get there on that. We will do it though. As for power we got good results from the first runs. 5 ft lbs of torque from 3300 all the way to redline. That helps and I think that can be improved on. Looks like intake and exhaust will help unleash more power from the piggy itself. THe idea here is to get more power and better mileage, YEA I said BETTER MILEAGE, for the same octane fuel. That is what piggy will do.

Damn! I didn't even stop to think that the manual and CVT piggies would be different!
Oh well, I guess I'll be waiting until I can afford it either way.
Thanks for keeping us up to date, Rock!

180hp? What kind of HP?
A manual put down 142 (only dyno run that I know of). So I doubt you'd get 180whp. If you mean 180 chp (engine HP), then I also doubt it since the car is rated at 152 chp. When Rock said double digits, I'm guessing he was talking more in the 10-19 range than the 40s...
Correct me if I'm wrong, though!
