more tuning for a separate pzev piggy or just more tuning for the regular piggy? does that mean it will give us more gains? what about if you already own one, can such tuning files be sent over the internet?
Bro, how would you noe that? I have spoken with multiple dealerships and they all said New jersey Lancers all have the pzev engine. Read the manual even the manual says it.
So we are downgraded from all the other lancers.
O and i better hope if they do something with the pzev piggy it will be free upgrade that rrm will be giving out to the pzev engine owners.

IT works fine on PZEV cars. 100% fine. WE have a different map for PZEVs though. Plus it dynoed 7+ h.p. from 3500-6500 rpms and you are getting better gas mileage with it.

And
because i bought the piggyback back in october i still have fed programming. so basicly doing nothing to my pzev engine? how nice
I was looking at the split second website for some more info on the piggy and what the difference is in all of them. I didn’t see the PSC1-017T on the list they had but I think maybe because it is a specific piggy to our lancers. I learned that you could email your maps to others so they can use them in their piggy. If you guys want more info read it at this link http://www.gadgetonline.com/U-Tune.pdf it was a good read. It says a lot about what the piggys are able to do and how to tune it. Also a lot of good programming tips for open and closed loop programming. Now since I am a little newer with tuning ECU's there were a few things I had to read twice to understand but that’s ok by me. Now I am sure RRM has programmed them well but I am also positive that as we get more stuff to mod our cars with, there will have to be adjustments along the line so this is a good way to learn about it. It also suggests getting a couple diagnostic readers to help with your tune as well. So please read it if you like it helped me out a lot to understand about the unit and what it does to the signals for the ECU. It also made it clear that it is a good investment especially if you are going to do bigger mods later.... YAY for the Lancer I really like my car!!!
