aight rock so u said this automatically adjusts with the mods we put on..how does that work? and is it gonna be bringin the most potential out of the extra mods? if NOT, are they tunable, say i take it to a local shop...

how does this work in conjunction with the piggyback, still gonna have the splicing correct?

I know no one believe so at our Lancer meet today, anyone that wanted to try one got to install it on their cars. If it sucks, you will be hearing from them. Well lets say, you will see threads from them regardless. Make sure you read what they tell you. There were about 40-50 Lancer guys there and nothing to hide.

No splicing and it works with piggyback since piggybacks do fuel and Timing box does timing. Put them together and you are at MAX effieciency.

ya but u cant tune a flash, unless u go there for em to do it, plus down time like 3 days, no biggie i suppose, piggy is tuneable specifically to your specs, like stated earlier in the thread, piggy +1 over flash, altho 20hp is a great thing

is there any way to find out what they are doing to achieve that number? somehow mirror it with the piggy thru tuning

And you can't tune a piggyback unless you have the software and some way to actually tune it (road or dyno).

And how is that different from a reflash? You need software to do both, and you need the ability to either dyno tune it or road tune it. I'm not saying don't buy the piggy, it's a wicked product, I'm simply pointing out that a flash can do the same things. The disadvantage with a flash is you need to find a shop you can trust. If you just buy the piggy and don't fiddle with it, you have RRM to fall back on.

If you buy the piggyback and use the tune that came on it, you're golden, RRM will back you up if something goes wrong and provide great customer service/feedback. If you tune it though, they can't be held accountable since it's no longer their tune.

aaand in correlation with your whole previous comment that is a plus over the re-flash how?

i mean were talkin 20hp vs 9hp, no splicing vs a stealth mod with no warranty issues when taken in for maintenance (i dont know if u have to send ecu BACK if u decide to undo flash for that purpose), both can be tuned by a shop, n what i gather from what ur saying the piggy is easier to tune

*i dont know if the timing box rrm will offer will work with the reflash*

is there something im missing about advantages of piggy over the flash?

i wuuuv u rrm
