you will most likely have very poor engine performance and have lots of miss fires or detonation.

as far as octane, the lower the octane the higher the risk of detonation and when timing is changed it makes the need for higher resistance to detonation a must so your car will run better using the highest octane. as soon as i recieve it i will make sure to post up a writeup with pictures and ask whatever questions i can on it.

If you can't afford the higher octane, don't mod, it's that simple.

Exactly! In any build if you're going full high power NA or FI You need to be running higher octane anyway. Why the complaints? Just skip the McDonalds #2 every fill up. No big deal!

Ok so Im still trying to figure this thing out......... Now for LS1 motors like in Trans Ams,Camaros,GTO's and Vettes ect. SLP makes a simalar product that hooks up to the IAT sensor "intake air temp" sensor. Its supposed to trick the sensor into thinking the air temp is different then it really is and then the ecu componsates for it by changing timing and what not. Now keep in mind LS1's respond very, very well to mods, well any way it dosent do a darn thing. They claim it does but it dosent. All you need to do is search around on an LS1 forum and you can confirm what im saying. Im not trying to bash this product or anything but I wanna see some good proof that it works and then im deffinatley sold on it. I still havent heard anything as far as how the 2.0 with a CVT works out with it. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IM NOT TRYING TO BASH BUT I'VE SEEN "SIMALAR" "GIMICS" ON CARS. I would just like some clarification on this product.

That sounds like the garbage they sell on Ebay promising 50 hp from a little resistor you shove in your IAT. Anyway this is much different and I will be the first one to test it out and i have a 2.0 CVT so i will answer what i can. i will be using my msd dashhawk to see how it affects the timing and other things including 0-60 times. I will post up 0-60 graphs using the Dashhawk software after it is installed.

RRM doesn't make GIMIC products. You want gimic products look on ebay. You want real mods look for RRM.

We are not claiming 50 h.p. that would be the first clue of a gimic. I will post dyno sheets too for it. 9 h.p. is very reasonable in a good way but not too good, that one would think we are full of it. We are not. No one has built a faster 08-09 Lancer to DATE. I think we are owed, at least, a little props and our name should never come into the same sentence as some of these Pretend shops or Ebay items. Thanks

Like I stated in my previous post I was not bashing nor do I mean any disrespect. I think the guys at road race make some quality parts. I was just looking for some clarification.

WhiteGTS18 I cant wait for your review! I've subsribed to this tread and if you dont post your review if you could post a link to it in here that would be great.
When do you think you will have a review? And any chance of a before and after dyno? Thanks in advance!

I find it sad how some forum members must become giney pig to try it out a product before others make the purchase and then most times good or bad review they still buy it. Don't wait for a damn review, go out be a man and buy the damn product, if your not satisfied sell it but please share your experience first so you can help other people stay away from horrible products. To easy.

Even though you are waiting for some other stuff on your order we sent you the box yesterday ahead of the rest of the order. That way you can get to it! Be on the look out.
