RRM Timing Control

So after reading all the reviews on this product im split on wether or not to get it , our ecu's up here in canada are different from the american ecus and there hasnt been enough feedback from canadian members to make any decisions on , in the end of july toronto lancer club will be doing a test n tune day , so wether this product works or not im going to buy it and im going to do some runs with it , im going to do a couple runs to get used to the track and the car then i will do a couple runs with the timing control in and compare the numbers with and without it , if any american guys have any slips of runs you did with and without the timing control i would be curious to compare if there was any difference in gains between the canadian n american , i know our cdn ecus dont show results with mods for atleas a few days ( weird huh ) there was actually a intake dyno'd and made -8hp because of our ecu's , and it is a very highly reccomended intake too , so i think this test will give some real results instead of just dyno figures , i know there are other threads on this product but i created this thread for this specific discussion and to see if anyone has done any tests like this so far wether it be in canada or america , this thread is for test results on a specific product that has so many questions around it

I agree, don't be so lazy when you type. It makes it more enjoyable for somebody to read when you seperate your thoughts and use good grammar.

Ya that wasn't much better.

I have only had the timing box since friday, ive noticed that the RPMs climb quicker after around 2700. Honestly there is nothing I can tell you that isn't in the other reviews and posts on the subject. So far everything seems good and I'm liking it.

should be an improvement in TQ which is what matters most.

Also Infamous if you get that thing, I have my scan tool and we can monitor the adv. timing in real time. do some data logging.

Hey soul why don't you ask matty here in the Canadian side who has the timing box. He was there at the time I got the Sprint booster. Ask him to show up at the meet and do some of your test there.

regular shipping for them is 5 days for the standard ground rate. The other is 3day guaranteed and then the prices are just too high to justify the shipping costs for anything faster than 3 day. This is the case no matter what company you ship with. UPS, DHL, FEDEX Express, anything overnight or even second day air cost way to much. I personally hate paying more for shipping than the item costs lol.

ha try living up here add shipping to the price , then convert to cdn dollar then add duty brokerage pst gst , im assuming the timing control will end up costing around 4 bills after all that .

i wish i lived down in the states and just had to pay shipping on items

Hey, How are your other mods working for you? Im from Canada too. How does our ECU react with everything? I might go bust out my ECU and get it flashed by WORKS.
