my knock issue

ok based on the following info I have I think im going to rich at a certain point or maybe im just too rich in the first place. but here are some logs to help verify my information I came upon. hints ans tips would help out so I can combat knock becuase I remember someone telling me that richining up the mix at the knock point can defeat knock... but the question is how much richer because this is true from what I researched

rich like 10 afr will give you knock from what I hear. It's that happy medium you want to be in. Evo's come with crazy advanced timing, but then they are pig rich...so it does combat knock, but at a certain point it's right to pull timing. I can't check logs, gotta head south and do some e-mail migration. Expect comments from me later on though, cause I'ma be bored off my butt waiting on everything to sync up.

OK, So you've peaked my interest. Here's what I think might help. Log as few items as you can.

wideband, RPM, 1-byteload, knocksum, and knock voltage. Whatever else it makes you log with that is fine, but try to get as many samples as you can by reducingthe clutter being logged. I think looking at the knock voltage will help tell if what you are seeing is real knock, or if the knock sensor is too sensitive.
