4b11/4b12 XML and Tuning
Over the past few weeks I have received a few emails with both ROMS and XML attached. Some guys are using XMLs for other ROMS and are just adding their ROM info in the XML. Needless to say there are errors in most of the maps. I have seen the same ROMID that have a different offset (no idea why) you can tell as some or most of the maps and scalars look wrong, either the axis or the cells in the maps do not look right. Guys will tune their cars and sometimes its works but odd functions do not and sometimes it does not work at all. If there is one bad line being flashed you could have issues. IF there is an XML for your ROM that is good with no errors perfect, if not why take a chance? for the sake of 250usd get it done right and avoid the headache and that sinking feeling after you flash your car and it runs rough. Experienced guys will know there is nothing to panic over but the non experienced guys will freak out. Again for the sake of 250usd get a XML built by one of the best in the business, this will avoid any problems....FYI the XML comes with a free base tune.

Kindof a Noob question but is it possible to tune our Stock ECU to 2010 ralliart maps after turbocharging? If not and we have to use an Evo X ECU can the dealership change the programmed Vin number for Emission and Inspection Purposes? Would I still have Mivec active?
