I have an 04 lancer es mt. the rom id is 92290022. the def file that is in the master definition isn't complete. when i bring up my rom all areas are grey. Yes i set to developer lvl. when i check maf or any other map it says "The current map description is invalid or imcomplete. Please edit the map description to fix the problem and the map will be viewable again."

I am positive the rom id is correct. i work at a mitsu dealer and used the medic to double check rom id. The only other wierd thing is the rom says 04 oz mt. I drive a 04 es mt.

The rom you mentioned is for a 04 oz. But it wouldn't matter. You could flash a lot of Roms onto your Ecu. I'm running an Evo 8 on my 02 oz. So try the definition file from this site. Should give you better results

Yes it would would work. You would have to adjust the MAF scaling and the injector scaling to match what you're running. You would also have to disable the immobilizer or have it match your stock rom. So don't flash a different rom to your car without backing up your original rom.

Are you running a turbo or are you just tuning a NA setup?

 

Im just tunning the na right now to get the hang of tuning. Ive started to piece together a evo8 turbo set up to turbo later.

 

Found a fix. Used rom 91860016 and xml. Seems to work fine will test more.
