4G94 tuning options
4G94 tuning options
Hey guys. I need input on controlling my 4G94 in a rail buggy I’m getting ready to start building.
Right now I’m looking at 4 options for controlling my 4g94.
The first option is using the Microsquirt V3 that I already have. I know it is a very capable device and has been used lots for all different kinds of engines. Problem is I can’t find any solid information on using it with a Mitsubishi engine.
The second option is the RRM piggyback. Definitely the easiest setup and most expensive option but I’m unsure of capabilities.
The third option is using a GM E78 ECM that I also already have. I’m quite experienced with tuning this ECM through HPTuners because it’s the same one in my Sonic turbo. It also has A LOT of capability However it’s definitely going to be the most difficult setup.
Tephramod v7? I know very little about this route. I see that it’s used on EVOs a lot but idk about a base lancer. Any information on using this on a non EVO motor would be great. I understand it’s free too right? Just takes a bit of computer knowledge to get setup?
Thanks guys for your time
