Aftermarket ecu

Hey guys so I’ve been looking into getting a new ecu for my daily/moderately built 4g94 setup, I had a few ideas and would really appreciate some feedback on the best one for my car because once CANBUS is included I’m lost 😂😂

my first idea is an AEM EMS-4. Done a little research and what’s pushing me away is no a/c...

So I kept looking through AEM and found the infinity series 5 and the only thing really pushing me away is the price tag on it

lastly I’ve been looking into LINK G4+ but have no idea what sub model to go with was hoping some could give me an idea of what they use I’ve been looking at the monsoon one but like I said I don’t really get CANbus

thanks again guys

build 4g94: Tri-y headers, short ram intake, rrm fuel calibrator, coilovers, and planning a turbo so I need a better engine management than an rrm or AEM f/ic piggyback... I want more tip in 😂

From some of the threads that I have read, you don't actually need a stand alone aftermarket ECU. There is a thread or two dedicated to turboing your 4G94 by the way, its also stickied!!

If your not doing more than say 10psi(though there is a mixed opinions on how much you can push on stock internals, mileage being a contributor as well), then you can go with EVOScan and ECU Flash. Even get a EVO VIII ECU to make tuning easier. This it the router I will be going once I get my DOHC 4G93E Swap done, just got done rebuilding my 03 Lancer ES, and need to get some miles on it beforehand.

I have a 4G94, and no I don't have the ROM File on hand(haven't started with the tuning process yet)...
Here are some threads to look through:
