There's too many people that live and die by RRM and while they provide a lot of quality products for us, they are far from the only choice and those of us that know better hate to see people cheat themselves by thinking there's one dominant choice when it comes to aftermarket parts.

Someone should ask the company to check out the website and this thread in particular so we can field more direct questions to them.

all i meant was that they probably arent going to bore the Throttlebody and intake manifold out more than RRM is all I was saying. NEVER once have I ever said RRM is the only place to buy aftermarket parts for our cars.

I also agree about how many people live and die by rrm, but they ARE a great company with not only great products but really good customer service. They jumped on me because they thought I said "duh rrm is teh only place to gets parts for my car, whooaaa nelly"

I think that if this is for real, than this is a really good deal, ive been saying that in my posts before this ESPECIALLY since i am N/A and will probably be staying N/A. cmon boys cant we all just get along?

Ok back on topic, does anyone plan on doing this anytime soon? when I get the available money this is something im really gonna check out.

I love RRM, really I do. But I for one am going to go with this Head package and the RRM piggyback computer. I'm hoping to gain at least 45whp with this combination, hopefully more.

If they replace the cam you're not gonna get very far with the RRM piggyback. There's another guy who went and installed an RPW cam and an RRM piggy and couldn't understand why he was slower than before. It's the cam. You'd be better off just getting an eManage with an upgraded cam..... OR- I've heard that RRM will do a custom tune on their piggys if you leave your car with them.... but that might just be a rumor.

OK, well i gave him a call back with your guys questions.

The Cams ARE regrinded, that is all- no new cams sent.

They will split the package if you want.

Throttle body = 275 with 250 dollar deposit ( this doesnt seem right now that im typing it, ill have to call him back.)

Intake manifold = 275 with 250 deposit. (same thing, hmmm...)

well those are the prices. RRM still offers their IM for 349, and TB for 289. so its still cheaper here, but i didnt even think about the quality or how much they bore it out. ill have to ask him that too.

If i were to buy this package for my lancer and then turned around and put a turbo on my car, which parts would just be taken back off?

Thanks,

well, recommended- unless you have a stand alone system- just the cams. the TB, IM, and polished head will run just fine.

Questions!

* Ported and Polished Cylinder Head
What is this?

* Racing Valve Grind
What is this?

* Cam Shaft
Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong. We have a single cam? They grind it which does what to it?

Thanks,
mechtn

I know that I have been a fan of RPW but I just want people to know who do not know that RPW does sell ported and polished heads. I have no idea how much they cost of if it is at all competitive with this find since their shipping costs from Australia make it difficult to compete with local shops.

But onto this....
This Bull frog head package is a great find but I looked for a few products for the lancer on their website and couldn't find any listing.

Did they say they were currently offering these things for our car or only if enough interest is shown?

they said if there is a demand for it, it is possible. the thing is, if you take your car to a machine shop and tell them to bore out your IM, Tb, and polish the heads, then basically thats what bullfrog is doing.
