I dont' think anyone was insulting. I may have been a touch harsh, but we've seen our share of claims of miraculous gains with no evidence. At least I got a response out of you If the shop used a PDA dyno (auterra), post the file and we'll post the pic for you
I mean, did you see the dyno yourself, or did the shop tell you 48WHP? I'd want to know for sure, you know?

wow, he got defensive...hehe

Just post up a dyno sheet, and we will all really beileve u then. You gotta understand that no one has ever done this before so results are skeptical, so dint take what we say to heart, just provide some proof is all we want

if you used a pda dyno, then your numbers will be 10% higher than on a dynojet.

I think a lot of that is because the Auterra works in the "real world" and not a garage with a fan blowing on your motor Plus Rhyzin's calculated gear ratios are a few % off of what the Auterra will calculate (not to bag on Rhyzin) so I think that takes care of our %error problem. I tested mine on a stock OZ and it gave about 100 (so they read somewhere between a mustang and dynojet). I don't think there's been a dyno yet that's given us 90WHP for a properly working lancer.

Just got a PM back from Mitsiman (Dave at RPW) in his estimation we could expect up to 10% gains from a P&P on a 4G94 or 4G93 head..... that's pretty impressive.

when you get your dyno done... get it done in fourth gear so we can compare it to other peoples dynos...

if it was a PDA dyno, it was probably a 3rd gear run. There aren't a lot of places that have enough room to let you top 4th gear (that's about 117MPH).... and it doesn't matter as long as we know before and after.

the SS kit rocks the party. Of course, you'll want to squeeze every ounce of performance out of it, so you'l have to find front camber plates and learn to do your own alignemtns (so you can fiddle with it until you get settings you like)
