Piggy Back and Shifting???

hey guys, i got my piggy back and installed and ive done the 150 mile thing because me and friends went out to LA to go to some clubs and junk, but anywho, the main difference im feeling with it is the shifting, but i dont remember anyone talking about this before.....

first gear: feels normal and fine

shifting into second: i go from red line right down to 3500rpms on a quick shift, is that abnormally low?

shifting into third: feel a jolt almost like the clutch skipped the grab or something

fourth and fifth: very clean, very crisp shifts

but initially i wasnt aware that the piggy back was going to change the feel of my shifting, just wanting to know if this is normal or not, thanx

If you got it recently then Version 2 is supposed to be smoother than the original. I got my PB retuned but have yet to reinstall but other people have said the shifts are greatly improved from the original PB.

I hope that helps a bit.

I think it has to do with the condition of your clutch and where the piggyback makes power. I doubt it's anything seriously abnormal, but perhaps someone with more experience could field this one.

yeah, my main concern is basically that third gear 'skip' or 'jolt' because the rest of the gears seem to be doin fine and feel great, even my friend who was in my car last night was like "whoa wtf is with your third?"

since your local to rrm maybe you should just stop in and have them check it out... doesn't seem like a big issue and it's probably something simple that they'll figure out in a second.
