RRM piggy back

Hi, I come from quebec and I don't speak english very well, so i try to make me understand . On my lancer ES 2004 i have a AEM CAI, magnaflow cat-back and the RRM headers. RRM said the headers give 8 WHP and when i install i feel the power and everything was great. After that, i order the piggy back and i install this and i don't feel the power. I chek my connection, i reset for a seconde time and no power more, i follow all the instructions. Before the piggy back i do 16.8 on 1/4 miles and after the piggy back i do 16.7 on 1/4 miles. What the probleme!!!!!!!! help me please

thank you
jonathan

According to my 1/4 mile tests of the PB it gives much improved power in the higher RPMS but mid to low end power suffers.

It is MY opinion that the mid to low end hurts the 1/4 mile performance since you need that good torque to get you moving.

One other thing too. If it is hot the Piggy does not have much of an effect on times. In the middle of summer I was running 16.8's with the piggy in the heat and damn near the same without it.

In the fall however in 50-65 degree weather the piggy seemed to come more alive and I was running 16.4's. I did remove the piggy and get the similar results without it at that time too so some of the effects can be attributed to the colder air.

In a nutshell, unless you spend most of your time in the upper rpms the effects of the piggy cannot really be felt.

When I had the PB mods were CAI/SRI, header, and catback.

In second gear it will start to really pull after 4k. In third after 3500K and fourth is about the same. In fifth just keep it above 3k and you will feel it.

hypo, the T-connection on your vacuum line is looking a little ****-eyed. if you switch it around it might look a little cleaner/neater.

This pic was given to by another forum member when I was putting mine in. I just remember getting it so I just posted it to give him an idea of what to look for.

I think you need to call them asap...

I'm sending this link to ROCK right now as something seems wrong. I don't think they knew you were an 04.
