wow, there are so many methods explained of how to get that nut off, so i might as well contribute. put a box wrench on the nut horizontally, with the opened end side of the wrench towards the intake, place a dowel rod on the bottom of the wrench at the openend side, get it tightened against the wrench with a jack, and then jack it up slowly (just make sure the car isnt lifting up when doing it). about the headers, if your not concerned about cost, just get the rpws.
^^^yes well i had tried the rope/string method and i just didnt have any strong enough lying around in the house, so my dad suggested that and once you start jacking, it breaks loose quick.
