The FPR is recomended because 99% of computers do not have the ability to adjust for a Acceleretor Pump Setting. The FPR unit rising rates are recomended cause you can run a slightly higher pressure, with teh faster response rate, and ensure no flat spots on initial acceleration, and pull fuel out across the board to overcome the slightly higher base settings for normal road driving. That is the main reason as camshafts want a lot more fuel on initial acceleration.

alright well how i drive right now the car gets about 18mpg in the city. not bad considering how i drive. i get about 25 on the freeway if im doing less than 80. im debating weather or not to take my rims off and lower it or just get new rims. i have Maxxim Ahead 18x7.5's and they rub pretty bad in the rear with a person in the back seat. i want 17's but im not sure if it would be worth the money to shell out the 1200-1500 for 17's with tires. anyways, would the fpr make a huge difference in gas milege?
