He obviously has a non USDM lancer. Im sure he means 0-100 km, which is the same as 0-60mph. My advice to him would be to pop his hood and post up his engine code, maybe some members here would recognize it and be able to help him out.

EDIT: read a few of his past posts and yep he is driving a lancer from egypt. Engine code is 4g13. I have never heard of the engine, but maybe someone here has.

He probably has a non-USDM lancer with the 4G13 engine in it. Contrary to popular belief on here there are overseas members with Lancers other than the 2.0L. The 4G13 is a 1.3L "beast" - 1.3L and I think about 74 hp or something insane like that.

To the original poster, that engine is a dead horse. See if you can source either the 4G18 16 valve engine or at the very least the 4G15 16valve ... make sure it is 16 valve tho because the 4G15 12 valve is also a dead horse.

ok now that that is sorted out back to you question. Every little bit helps. Yes doing a header without exhaust will give you a gain, just not as much as if you did the full system. Seeing as you have the non-USDM motor im not sure that alot of us could be alot of help in directing you to parts for your ride. I have no idea how your engine bay is laid out or what kind of manifold studs you have. But goodluck finding stuff. Magnaflow makes some prett good exhaust systems as does greddy.

hmm . .good question. Im not sure but id say on that block with the header and intake youre looking at what maybe a 5-7hp gain. Youll get close but youre gonna need a couple of other things to get you over 100hp.

BAD IDEA . . an ECU is programed for your particular engine, swapping in an ECU from a different engine is simply going to cause all sorts of wrong readings. What you can do is get ECU piggybacks like RRM makes that modify the existing signal to change the power curve.

There is not a lot known about these little engines as such. If your engine is teh 4G15 SOHC 12v model engine then headers an other stuff will work, but a rising rate FPR unit is recomended first to eliminate inherent flat spots due to it being a MAP sensor design air adjustment system.

Most of the stuff from the 4G15 late model mirage vehicles shoudl go across to yoru vehicle -= the 4G18 engine on the other hand there is nothing made for them by anyone at this time. THey are not the same as teh 4G15 engine family they are a hybrid 4G15 / 4G9 engine setup and are just plain weird. Available in the Proton family - there may be stuff coming out soon for that model but won't be for months yet.

If you do a header maybe you can also get ahold of a pretty quiet aftermarket muffler and have some custom piping done? it should help you get closer to your 100hp goal and you should be able to avoid the loud exhaust sound you said you would rather avoid.

OT i have a question, why is a lancer with a 1.8L engine putting out 122hp stock and our 2.0L is 120? How can this be? Why must Mitsubishi torment us? lol

Punishment. We didn't buy enough Mirage LSs, so is punishing the ricerboys that buy Lancers now. Everytime a kid with a 97 Mirage goes "yeah, my car is actually just as fast as yours" and we cry, wins.

Because HP is a strange and arbitrary tool for measuring engine output. Our car makes the power earlier in the powerband and provides more torque (130lbs/ft stock) I'm sure.
