i'm not sure what the rate change is money wise for canada but i hope that helps ya out
the reason they installed it, is because they said the car will be under warranty only if they do it.. If i was to install the intake, it would void warranty. thats what they said.

weird, i see most of you guys are installing them yourselves.

I would install myself....
I think I'm going with the RMR SRI. CAI would probably mess up my car considering how much it rains in FL.

i sure hope not. i'm putting on my cai tomorrow or friday, and it rains a ton here in orlando. i think the filter placement is fine, as long as you don't remove the fake grill inserts, and its protected on the bottom by the bumper i think. should be fine as long as you don't drive through 2 feet of water.

yeah, RMR sounds great, especially around the 3500 rpm mark. but i didnt feel it really gave me any extra boost..
besides, an intake will only give u 1-3% extra hp...

had my first full day with my AEM CAI today. i agree, that it is AMAZING. runs wonderfully smooth, has a really nice little jump in power at around 3500 RPM, even with the AC on.

i'd have to say it is 10 times better than the common ghetto SRI (which I had, and many members have), sounds better, looks better... and the soft mount is a MUCH better design than injen (which has a hard mount to the engine and breaks).

AEM = the boom-diggity

RRM SRI was my choice (auto trans). Sounds great, and I really feel a difference over 3500 rpm. I think it looks good under the hood too!!!!

i'd say if u got an automatic, your almost forced to go with one of the short ram intakes, either from RRM or RMR.

if u got a manual, i'd say go wit the aem cai, because wit manual, ure transmission doesn't block the opening for the filter like the automatic setup does.

thats basiclaly my reasoning for goin wit the short ram intake

well, i have manual. I heard a cai would not be good if you live in a place where it rains alot and I live in Chicago so I might go with a short ram. but my ? was never answered bout who 2 go with AEM or injen.
