according to aem's website theres a short ram intake coming soon for the lancer. i plan on waiting for that instead of getting a different SRI. two reasons for this: 1)it will probably come with piping to replace the rubber tubing from the MAS to the throttle body allowing for better air flow and 2) if i can get it in blue it'll go with the whole color scheme under my hood(check out my registry to see what i mean.)

btw i have an auto lancer otherwise i wouldve gotten the CAI

everyone's talking about not getting the CAI because it rains so much... can't u just get the bypass valve... doesn't AEM make it for their intake systems?

It really doesnt matter that much if it rains... It rains more here in my place.. Im in the pacific, and nuthin really happens. Hard rains are still alright, aslong as you dont hit a deep puddle or go through flooded areas.. But otherwise, you will do excellent... I just really love the sound of the AEM CAS .. Its dayum tight!

I put in my own vote for my HKS setup. Cheap, easy and cleaning is as simple as ordering new SMF's. Plus I can get those swanky gold filter cages.
