I just ran some sea foam in my 02 OZ this weekend. It didnt smoke nearly as much as everyone else talks about, and it made my friends CEL come on in his mazda.

After we ran it through though, i did feel alot more kick in the low end. its really peppy now where it was a bit sluggish on starts. i only ran it through the vacuum lines and oil system. i am going to wait till i fill up again to run it through the fuel system.

we ran the codes on my buddy's mazda though and it was a fuel bank 1 error. his #1 cylinder was running rich. it also snapshotted a vacuum leak from when we had his hose d-conned for adding the foam.

he claims he feels no difference. his is an automatic though. I wonder if that has something to do with it. his did not smoke at all though. we are changing the oil this coming weekend after a week of driving it through the oil system, so we will see

u wont feel the difference in those 2 spots.. the difference is felt when you pour it in the vaccum.. and if you dont have high mileage then this was probably not for you.

Supply chain solutions (SCS) is different, your average joe has no access to the service.

i've been scrollin through, and i havent found anyone suggesting a way to use it on ollllld cars. my 1992 benz runs good and strong as is, but with 171,xxx im sure theres plenty of gunk built up. i understand that pourin it in the oil will clean out anything that maybe preventing leaks etc. so how bout just pouring it in the IM and through the fuel system? still not a good idea?

I've been running it in the oil without changing it untill the regular interval (5,000 miles for me) on a 1991 Mazda since 127,000 miles. It now has 149,000. It leaked a little before and it leaks the same now. It definitely uses less oil now. I went from 1qt every 900 miles to 1qt every 1,500 miles.

You don't HAVE TO use it in the oil. SeaFoam can allows you to clean up to 3 system and all with the same can. It's up to you to decide if you want to go all out and clean all 3 system, or be conservative and clean only 1 or 2. I badly needed to clean my oil system which is why I got that stuff in the first place. Use it for whatever you need it.

I used the green vacuum line when I did it. I went to an Auto Part store and bought a 2 foot vacuum hose line, I took the green hose off, and put the 2 foot extension on. I use one end on the IM and the other end in the Sea Foam can, it worked some Im Happy, and I could tell the difference. =]

sounds good lusion! i think i will do it just like u did next time i run this can.. which will be when i put my turbo back on. (dam gas prices). Before this i used to get a cel all day everyday... even with a cel fix... i just did 500 miles after sea foam.. w/ cel fix..... NO cel!

but you have to squeeze the hose or else it will stall? what about the green tube, do you just let it hang?
