Please correct me where I am wrong. It seems like maybe I could get a modified fuel rail from rpw? one which would allow a FPR to be installed with maybe bigger injectors?

You cannot fit a FPR unit to the vheicles which are returnless systems. Only the earlier models which did run a stock FPR setup. Using a FPR stock type 1 : 1 ratio unit is of no real value - a rising rate FPR unit under vacuem is what you would be after.
We instead setup on our turbo cars a surge tank system with a larger pump to avoid problems with the fuel pump and returnless system on the lancers - this way we used the stock pump to fill up the surge tank, setup a return line system and then fed it back to the petrol tank. Worked a treat.

I am working on some idea's for the non return systems now. One idea is to fit some marginally larger injectors (240 to 275cc units) with a greddy emanage. This will have the effect of increasing the accelerator pump values and feeding more fuel, with the emanage able to recalibrate normal fuel curves back to the equivelent 240cc injector size. Something we will be testing on the Ralliart model in its effectiveness.
