Throttle body

Has anyone installed the rrm throttle body? What h.p. is expected from installing one, would you get more h.p. from it if you have an exhuast and intake and headers as well? Is it easy to instal?

hp is going to be dependent on your mods, so yes those things will help. Install should be done by someone who knows what they are doing...I haven't tried one, so I'm not too sure how difficult/easy it is.....anyone here isntall the TB themselves?

I was originally going to change the t/b, but decided not to because the h/p gains aren't that much for the price of the t/b.
To be quite honest, I wouldn't change the t/b even if I were to go with a turbo.

I got one istalled. I think that there was a slight noticeable difference in HP. Maybe 30 to the wheels. To me it was worth it. j/k (I do have it though, and it is worth it)

I think it is more a throttle response issue. I have one and feel like that was the right thing to do after intake and exhaust. Noticed some h.p. gain as well as throttle response.

I agree wholeheartedly. My throttle response is a lot better. I do intend to go bigger at some point though. The MAF restrictor plate and TB are the two biggest bottlenecks in the intake system.

Is there anything we can do about the MAF restrictor plate?
